2017 AHI Award for Leading

Regional Housing Limited (RHL) has received top Australasian honours for its innovative Specialist Disability Accommodation in Bundaberg.
RHL was selected from 10 Australian and New Zealand state finalists to take out the award which recognises new thinking within the sector and seeks to promote initiatives that have led to significant change or improvements within the community and the greater social housing sector.
Practical design features such as accessible, adjustable kitchens, raised power points, LED lighting, accessible bathrooms, wider hallways, and step free paths of travel combine with assistive technology features like movement activated lighting, smart webcam doorbells with remote unlocking and iPad control of integrated functions to provide a truly unique and empowering living experience.
